Security clothing
When dealing with a topic like Security or as they are called today the “bouncers” of the past, in charge of security and control. The substance does not change much, except at the terminological and legal level, in fact today we need to obtain a Prefectural Decree, which attempts to regulate a “profession” that has been mistreated for too many years. Going beyond the strictly legal part, what interests us is that the Security must be recognizable by displaying the yellow card, but often also in black clothing. We start from black clothing and try to put to good use over twenty years of service in the clubs of the Romagna Riviera. For services in suits, it is always recommended to have trousers and a stretch jacket, to have freedom of movement as well as footwear with rubber soles, never in leather, the well-polished black boot often does its job well. Why the boot? Try to get your foot stepped on a 12 heel with the sneackers!
The choice of footwear is essential for two main reasons: your safety and comfort (given that you are on your feet for hours). Personally I prefer the boot in black leather, perhaps waterproof, with a safety sole (non-slip on all surfaces). Footwear, such as gloves and earplugs, are PPE.
For the more “operational” roles, discos and pubs, the attire of the security officer generally becomes: black polo shirt and black “tactical” trousers. On the polo shirt the advice is to choose cotton perhaps with a technical t-shirt underneath or for those who always want to be perfect merino wool, which certainly costs more but offers thermal comfort and does not smell bad for hours …
The “tactical” pants are often a problem, given the common use of the classic BDU, often too bulky. The Helikontex company produces different models of stretch tactical trousers, with a more linear profile and much less bulky pockets, definitely much more comfortable and functional in design
